Yahrzeit Candle Holders and Sympathy Gift Jewelry

Welcome. I hope I can bring some comfort and beauty to you or a loved one with my handmade yahrzeit candle holders and sympathy/condolence gift jewelry made of fused glass. Each is made of a combination of colored and dichroic glass for just a little shimmer and depth. The images and words you see are also made of glass – powdered glass sometimes mixed with 22k gold. You will find samples of my creations on this website and to see what is currently available for purchase, please visit my Etsy Store.

Sand in Pink and Turquoise

Testimonial: “The lovely necklace created by Mimi Handlin so perfectly symbolizes the feelings and memories I have of my daughter it is as if it were designed especially for me. My dear 20 year old daughter lived in a college town in California’s central coast for the last year and a half of her life. The colors and other aspects of the fused glass pendant remind me both of her and of her happy life there; the gentle aqua reminds me of the ocean and the sky in that special place and the pale pink brings to mind her physical beauty as well as her gentle and caring nature. The sand within the pendant reminds me of the many happy hours she spent on the beach with her friends and the sparkly streak, to me, represents her sweet and vibrant spirit that lives on in my memory as I remember her with love and with gratefulness for having had her in my life.   The poem in the gift box is both comforting and inspiring. Yahrzeit Candle Holder, 22k Gold and White Tree of Life Testimonial: The yahrzeit candle holder is exquisite. I’ve never seen anything like it and it is a perfect tribute to my husband. I’ve been telling people we need more beautiful Judaica.  Thank you for making this. Marilyn
